Why long audio delay on BKTv on PAS8? - AUS-CITY Message Forums

Satfreak what's happened to audio on BKtv? This channel has become unwatchable with audio delay of abot 5 seconds.

I concur. I have already asked the question. I think we cannot wait for fibre for this one to be rectified... Vlad

satfreak while you are at it have a look at the arabic mux(mbc)same thing about 5 seconds delay if this is the new pay tv from wmi i could not see anyone rushing to join up

MBC will be fixed very soon, as long as it's still free to air it doesent matter, but it will be fixed before they encrypt the channels.

like the old saying try before you buy and so far wmi on pas8 are not setting a good example no problem on pas2

it will be to late by then i know of 3 family's who would like to join up to wmi on pas 8 but they don't like what they see now so why would they want to join

They will encrypt at the end of this month.. so wait and see... I have told 4 people so far about wmi... and they have joined, (previous tarbs subscribers)

yes dan04 i have no problem in waiting but who would join up in the current form when its encrypted they cant see the picture and all they remember is how bad it was and lucky we didn't join up they say as for me i have card for pas2 and i would not change over to pas8 for the same reason

If they want their channels from home, they will join or else bad luck, thats if nothing is done about the problem. I think they have fixed ART variety the sound was lower than the rest of the channels.

But ofcourse its not in wmi's interest to leave things as they are.

Providers, now days need to be customer focused. This is not a banana republic, man. World Media knows about all this and they said it will be fixed before the encryption, that is all that I got told. They clearly know about the MBC issue.

satfreak i suggest you do not go ahead with the encryption until all problems are solved and the customer can see the end result that is the voice delay and the picture quality bean solved

satfreak while you are at it why cant i record from future TV in colorer when i used to be able when it was with tarbs and when it was first brought to wmi it was in colorer and now its in black and white and don't tell me some bull sh*t about bean brought live from USA and they use different frequencies and last good luck on fixing the ku signal

Whome there is nothing wrong, I can record Future TV and the rest no problems. Maybe you havent connected it proberly, PAL those settings

UBI does not have the channel he wants, if they did I would definetly join UBI.

now hers a thought what IF wmi and ubi joined all the programs as one they will make a killing but been Arabs as I'm there is big fat chance of that happing as we all know Arabs do not work together but they are good at stabbing each other in the back

Again, sound doesn't fit the picture on BK TV (PAS-8) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/default/frown.gif" /> Some people are getting really angry because in a few hours time, Orhodox New Year is comming and BK TV will have a special programme, live from Downtown Čačak with Serbian celebrities like Ceca, etc... Imagine Ceca in a mini skirt and her most enjoying bits covered by a blue stripe, disgusting, makes you want to throw something at the TV set in revolt.

Satfreak, There are two channels broadcasting BK. One with a blue stripe and one without it. The one without it also has a crisp picture. Looks like it's on fibre... Vlad...

What about blue stripes on BN and Pink+? I'm sure that UBI thought about adding a blue stripe across the middle of the screen on Pink+ just to cover the hurting message but that would have looked rather stupid, wouldn't it.

To be honest, I love that the BN has the stripe on it! Those SMS's from Huso and Haso were getting on my nerves!. They even had those stupid SMS while watching a movie wich was so trucking stupid! If I already pay good monet to watch it (so do the US subscribers) then i expect it to be add free!!! Especially during a show/movie. I agree Vlad those SMS are sooooooooo annoying they should get em off!

Sure, if we all ask for it they'll remove them but what about the lost revenue channel? It'll have to be compensated from another one and at the moment the only one I can think about is the subscription fees. Now that's something that the most of us will really find annoying.

There is a point beyond which the service is just not worth the price one is willing to pay. Now, they can up the price further and further. It will just make the service less and less valuable to the point that no one would want it. And if I want to watch a movie like “Vruc Vetar” I’ll just rent the god damned DVD or video!

Exactly, that's why they opt for more innovative revenue channels like SMS for instance.

I think, they can allocate an additional channel for sms and other type of services same as European channels..This will at least make the channel more easy to watch from any interruption.
