This morning I have found almost all Transponders on PAS-8 dead.

12726 3/4 H 28066 (no signal)
12286 3/4 H 28800 (very weak signal)
12326 3/4 H 28800 (no signal)
12526 3/4 H 28800 (very weak signal)
12575 2/3 H 13845 (excellent signal, as always)
Anyone experiencing the same/similar problems?
Also, SCTV on B-3 is down too....
My SelecTV reception was OK early this morning, as I recall flicking through the channels then listening to BBC World whilst having a shave.
Seven Central on B3 was borderline, but UBI and Globecast transponders seemed OK.
I won't be able to check again until a few hours from now.
The last time that I had problems with PAS 8 was when PanAmSat did some manouvers (in May?? - I can't remember) and I had a weak LNBF at the time. It was enough that I lost the transponder with the movie channels on it.
At about 5:00pm yesterday, we suffered an uplink rainfade during a hailstorm in Sydney - affected 2 transponders - there was no fade on 12,286 MHz (uplinked from Napa). All transponders were back up before 5:30pm. No satellite issues today. Suggest you look at your LNB.
Strange, I've pointed two dishes to PAS-8 and the same thing happened on both systems. (totally independent, eg, separate dish, cabling and receiver as well as the dishes are 15 meters apart) I do not know how my (both) LNBs could be affected at the same time... very strange...
BTW, SCTV on B-3 is still down (actually, there is test screen on)
Everything is normal here. Even Seven Central on B3 is OK here again. (May have just been the fog this morning.)
UPDATE:
Looks like my receiver is very sick. It's under intensive care now but the chances for full recovery are slim... thinking
Thanks everyone !
