The spring solar outage season is with us again. Expect outages on PAS-8 for around 10 minutes mid morning for the next 7 days or so. Outage predictions for major cities are posted on the Austech forum.

Funny how some c/band dishes actually melt the LNBF plastic cover off, I've witnessed this a few times.

I've been meaning to check the focal point on my 90cm offset Ku dish, as I noticed that if I apply a bit of upward pressure to the LNBF support, I can squeeze a bit more quality out of the signal. So maybe I'll enlist the Sun's help.
