An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 occurred only 11 minutes ago 37 km northwest of Rustāq, Afghanistan, India's National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported.
The quake hit at a great depth of 302.3 km beneath the epicenter near Rustāq, Takhar, Afghanistan, early afternoon on Monday, February 14th, 2022, at 3:25 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
