Thrusting techniques are extremely effective, but difficult to counter, and are only effective as long as the tip finds its target without delay.

Thrusting into a rolled up wara, loosely placed on a stand will, supported by a firm stance and controlled blade handling develop, in time, the correct thrusting techniques.
