NATO Secretary General visits USS Harry S. Truman
On 12 October 2018, the Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, will visit the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman and the Royal Danish Navy support ship HDMS Esbern Snare, flagship of NATO's first Standing Maritime Group.
Mr. Stoltenberg will be accompanied by the Chairman of the Military Committee, Sir Stuart Peach, by the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), General Curtis Scaparrotti, and by other senior military officials.
This visit is taking place in the context of preparations for exercise Trident Juncture 2018 later this month. Find out more about the exercise here.
