AMSAT Corporate Secretary, Barry Baines, WD4ASW, announced the results of the 2008 election for the Board of Directors:
Lou McFadin, W5DID - 738 Tom Clark, K3IO - 726 Gould Smith, WA4SXM - 665 Bill Ress, N6GHZ - 483
As a result of the 2008 board of directors election, K3IO, W5DID and WA4SXM will serve on the AMSAT BOD for 2 years The alternate is N6GHZ The total number of ballots cast was 919 Last year, the number of ballots received was 871
The Board will consist of:

The next Board meeting will take place in Atlanta, Georgia on October 23, 2008 prior to the start of the 2008 AMSAT Space Symposium This meeting is open to all AMSAT members
