At 07:10 UTC on 11-21-2013 Kosmotras launched a Dnepr rockey with 32 satelites on it All satellites were successfully placed in orbit Not all of these satellites are of interest to Amateur Satellite enthusiasts
The satellites of interest to Amateur Radio operators are as follows: ICube-1 (Pakistan) FUNcube-1 (AMSAT-UK) CubeBug-2 (Argentina) Delfi-n3Xt (Delft University of Technology, Netherlands) Triton-1 (Netherlands) Go to http://www amsat org/ for more information
Because which object is which satellite will be unsure for a few days, I will post the KEPs for the above satellites in a separate email from the normal KEP distibution until things settle down There is definitely a cloud of satellites up there!
I will start with the list above and add others as we go along Please email me your comments or suggested additions I particularly would like any suggestions as to which object is which satellite Good hunting!
After the list becomes firm and we have identified all objects, I will transfer them to the normal AMSAT KEP distribution
Here are the preliminary KEPs that I found from the internet just after the Dnepr launch: AO-73 (FUNCUBE-1) 1 00312U 00312A 13325 30964218 00000000 00000-0 10000-4 0 7 2 00312 97 7992 38 2578 0062122 196 7894 338 6768 14 77349691 03 CUBEBUG 2 1 00332U 00000 13325 30959780 00000000 00000-0 10000-3 0 00000 2 00332 097 7920 038 2573 0082588 195 0614 340 2312 14 72794130000002 DELFI-NEXT 1 00371U 00371A 13325 30966725 00000000 00000-0 10000-4 0 0 2 00371 97 7847 38 2580 0129922 191 8458 343 9172 14 62368478 09
