Hi All:
Im having a bit og trouble tunning to intelsat 701.
I have a dual polatity LNB using 70 cm Offrset KU dish.
Are the seeting in antenna menu 11300 OR UNI.?
LNB type 13/18?
Should the LNB cable be hanging straight down?(6 o'clock position??)

Some frequencies setting V & H would be appreciated.
Not sure if my dish is big
enough.(Melbourne~Greenvale area)
Viva Le France!......Thanks
You will need a universal lnbf and the settings
9750-----10750

11174H....23150 new caledonia only
Thanks Tracesat
I shall try both settings (9750 & 10750)
I know this sat is pretty low on the horizon.
Fun bit is finding them:>
My LNB is dual Polarity 11300 type.

I'll give this a go tonight.
Is there much FTA channels on i701?

DR
Your 11300 LNB will only work with the Setting 11300

You need a different LNB called a Universal one 9750 / 10600 to get most of the stuff off I701

Also a 65cm might be abit to small for Melbourne to get I701

There is some French TV and Radio on there and EWTN FTA

http://www.lyngsat.com/i701.html

We only get in Australia the New Caledonia Beam
85 cm, I'm using a 1.2M for Intelsat 701.
Thanks for that info Lazersat.

Shall try tonight.
Hope dish is big enough..

Cya
I do not live far from Greenvale and I can tell you a 70cm may not even get you a signal at all here in Melbourne, you will need a 120cm to get stronger signals that do not go out when the sky is overcast.

I am using a 90cm for I701 in Melbourne and not far from Greenvale in the north of Melbourne and picking up all of the French TV.
Brisbane I would use a 90CM + mainly because of the rain factor.
