Hi All:<br />Im having a bit og trouble tunning to intelsat 701.<br />I have a dual polatity LNB using 70 cm Offrset KU dish.<br />Are the seeting in antenna menu 11300 OR UNI.?<br />LNB type 13/18?<br />Should the LNB cable be hanging straight down?(6 o'clock position??)<br /><br />Some frequencies setting V & H would be appreciated.<br />Not sure if my dish is big<br />enough.(Melbourne~Greenvale area)<br />Viva Le France!......Thanks

You will need a universal lnbf and the settings<br />9750-----10750<br /><br />11174H....23150 new caledonia only

Thanks Tracesat<br />I shall try both settings (9750 & 10750)<br />I know this sat is pretty low on the horizon.<br />Fun bit is finding them:><br />My LNB is dual Polarity 11300 type.<br /><br />I'll give this a go tonight.<br />Is there much FTA channels on i701?<br /><br />DR

Your 11300 LNB will only work with the Setting 11300<br /><br />You need a different LNB called a Universal one 9750 / 10600 to get most of the stuff off I701 <br /><br />Also a 65cm might be abit to small for Melbourne to get I701<br /><br />There is some French TV and Radio on there and EWTN FTA <br /><br /> http://www.lyngsat.com/i701.html <br /><br />We only get in Australia the New Caledonia Beam

I do not live far from Greenvale and I can tell you a 70cm may not even get you a signal at all here in Melbourne, you will need a 120cm to get stronger signals that do not go out when the sky is overcast.

I am using a 90cm for I701 in Melbourne and not far from Greenvale in the north of Melbourne and picking up all of the French TV.

Brisbane I would use a 90CM + mainly because of the rain factor.
