There is word on various dodgy forums that the NAGRA 2 encryption system has been hacked.

This might mean big problems for FIJI TV on I701 as they use Nagra2 for the C.A.

Myself, I use DVB PCI card (Hauppauge Nexus-S)

Most people use FTA receivers loaded with bins that have built in N2 emulators

Hey Ew_829

admitting piracy exists is in no way supporting it. This forum doesn't support piracy either.

You see with Fiji TV being Nagra2 it could be a problem. Their market up there is small enough as it is. Think about it

Fiji tv becomes "available" they buy their own gear and "pirate" it. This will affect PBS as well. I mean why pay $xx per month when the other service is "free"

interesting situation!

Why who is selling the PBS boxes??

You know what intrigues me? We all know Apsattv is a regular visitor of the vetrun forum but what I can't understand is, he posts the above in this forum, not vetrun's. Now thats a bit odd, I would have expected to find it in that forum too.

Phill Vetruns is a strictly FTA forum. Fiji TV and PBS are not really ontopic there being Ethnic PAY TV services.

Its madness going with a cracked system if they are going to use it. I am sure they will have to, to cut costs. Of course they would have to shutdown B3.. Forget about NZ because Mirchee TV has Zee there and they offer more.

Besides Globecast is uplinking Zee on Optus B3. They just re-route it to Pas8 and use the same encryption system.
