PINK + & PINK EXTRA "experiencing technical difficulties"

Liski Can you please advise us when the pink channels will be back on the air AND what is the cause of both channels going of the air at the same time????

When everything runs smoothly, this forum is very quiet. UBI takes some channels of the air just to wake up people..... and there we go.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/default/rolleyes.gif" /> Betcha that ja is coming soon, too....... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/default/grin.gif" />

Pink Plus and Pink Extra will be coming back soon. It is a technical problem.

UBI and TV Plus use different feeds for Pink Plus. UBI is a direct feed from Europe and is having technical problems.

See Satfreak is the Minister of DOOM and GlOOM, when Pink and co go off the air at UBI its party time every time.

I guess Satfreak just sits there watching the UBI feeds and if he sees any little problem to make TV Plus look good he just runs and posts on the forum. Maybe he should spend more time watching the TV Plus feed and try and fix the quality.

Hello all I was just asking as a "viewer" of PINK Extra when its comming back. Also since BOTH the PINK channels are encrypted and you bring BK on the same fibre from Europe and BK is still on the air I was wondering what could be the problem...

Oh you're a keen UBI viewer. Is the quality on Pas8 unbearable to watch. You're always wanting to bag UBI in the form of being a viewer or a TV+ supporter. It must be difficult wearing 2 hats huh... You want it shut down on UBI yet enjoying the pleasures of Pink Extra.. Post something that the readers know that TV+ is a genuine competitor and not stoop low to derogratory comments. Shape up or shift out I say.

FFS, MKTV Sat not working too i cant watch the soccer. Why does UBI always do this even before the last game against Czech Republic they had the same screen saying technical difficulties. WTF is TV + do they have the maco channel?

They said they have difficult, what can you do just wait, UBI doing they best, it is in UBI's interest to remove difficulty soonest they can.

Nick, What happens if the channels come back after you repoint your Dish to Pas-8 and got the contact from TV+....Any idea....

Satfreak loves this! Like I said before and I will say it again TV plus needs UBI's Balkans channels out of the way to survive. For me I want both companies to have the channels but does Satfreak agree with me, I bet not.

I cannot believe what's just transpired. So that's it? The fight is over and no one has anything to say? Boys and girls, let me remind you that if there is only one provider left, there will be a monopoly over the European content (so far the Balkan content). Couple that with a small company that has not had too much experience and you'll find that: a) You will be stuck with an inferior service (as is seen currently with the poor audio/video quality of the broadcast). Even after complaining for months now, no one has done anything about the quality!!! Must be that the owners think we have no option and will put up with shit quality! So arrogant that the messages are scrolling through the centre of the screen, non stop! Well they are right, we don’t! We gave up the right to have an option the moment we allowed TV+ to eradicate all competition! b) The value for the money will be poor (3 channels for $70 and will rise, I assure you to $100 in a couple of months into the running of the company. Make no mistake, you’ll be paying $100 per month for 3 channels!!! This is the reason they want competition out of the game with their “exclusive deals” with overseas providers (in this case Pink, BK and BN)! Oh, and you can forget about additional channels coming on any time soon. They need to build up cash. The problem is even when they do build up the needed cash, the idea will be to delay the extra channels for as long as no one complains (as it seems that we, down under, don’t seem to have “a voice”)! c) The turnaround time is extremely long and there seems to be no improvement in the near future!. The priority seems to be liaising with providers, locking them into “exclusive” contracts and coding the content so that they can monopolise the market here down under. Customer focus, you ask?...There is no customer focus! I am also curious to find out how big TV+ is but I doubt it could service us Balkans alone, let alone other regions. Food for thought, boys and girls!!!

“What could I do?”, I hear you ask… Plenty! Start by sending an email to Pink, BK, BN with your concerns! Then you could send one to TV+ to show them that you cannot be “taken for a ride”! Send a copy to UBI too, to voice your support! There are many things you can do, the worst of which is to stand by and spectate!!! Vlad...

Darth Vader I'm with you 100%, Tv Plus cannot afford competition, they must get rid of UBI any way they can. Yes you will be paying around 100 bucks a month with a few extra channels. all I can say is the fight is not over and if UBI never get to get them back well sorry Balkans people You're about to get screwed big time regarding what the quality is.

Uruguay, They have been off air on Optus B3 since mid week. Pink Plus and Pink Extra will return shortly.

I think by next week we will find out whats going on.

Darth Thankyou for the constructive feedback. Firstly TV+ will not be increasing the pricing as the target market will not/cannot afford to pay higher pricing. Secondly TV+ will be commencing transmission of other channels and addressing quality issues once other factors have been dealt with. Rgs

People are already enquiring about changing sat dish from B3 to PAS8....not good for UBI

megb68, You can't really stop people from realigning their dish. The best thing to do is just wait and they will be back shortly. They have 2 choices: > Realign to PAS8 for 3 channels > Stay on Optus B3 for 4 channels with Pink Plus/Extra coming back shorly plus more balkan channels [ 15. Yes it became encrypted. Try pointing any old TARBS box to PAS8 now that worked a few days ago.. It no longer works either "encryption" The customers have a choice if they wish to watch PINK, BK & BN signup to TV+ if they wish to watch Planeta sign with UBI... Rgs

It's in the process of coming back. There is no ETA but the problem is being working out with Pink.

Liski doesn't want to say to much because we all know who is reporting to TV plus.

Fsking Planeta is not even close good as Pink is Planeta TV is just piss of s#*t, broadcasting music 24/7 like Planeta do is not hard, we can have plenty of music over internet, what we want is movies, show Pile and Maca, Sav taj Pink, Zamka etc..
