can anyone help me i can;t see channels 1-33 and i have turned off the box for a min and even all night and nothing!!! does anyone else have the same problem
Uruguary,

Try doing a Mapping Channels.
Yes do what Liski said that will fix you!!
i took out the card and cleaned it then did a mapping now it works it was wird i mean the box in the bed room was fine and the living room wasn;t and both on the same sat but thats guys for the hlep.
i have the same problem Uruguay. nothing solves it. i guess we can only wait, as there is no technical help number of UBI that we can reach weekends.

Here is another comparison point between TARBS and UBI!!!
Sharp,

If you've been having this problem for awhile you should've called UBI not waited a few days.

UBI are open Mon-Fri 0900 - 2000 and Sat 0900 - 1700
i tried friday 17.20 and i was told technical help was not available after 17.00, and advised to call back on monday. please correct your hours.

same thing happend last saturday evening too. two weekends without Turkish TV.

Now it is my turn....can't see channel from 12 onwards...try doing a remapping channels and only channel 38 and 39 came back.....then tried again and they were gone .....this happened right in the middle of some of my favourite shows.... I'll check tomorrow morning....it is 11:30 pm perth time
Father was watching TRT-INT and lost it suddenly, now it only shows "ird disabled"....Nothing fixed the message...
fsking,

If your father was watching TRT on UBI with a TARBS Decoder and doesn't have a contract then you will get IRD Disabled.

If you don't want your TARBS Decoder to be "zapped" don't point it to the UBI Frequencies.
Liski, Why does he need a contract to watch an FTA channel? Does he need to pay for it even using his very own Tarbs Box? Very dissapointing...I was expecting a bit of understanding from you for the old fella, but instead of giving a correct direction to fix his problem, you just made your point by just saying "screw you!" which was the only logical translation to his very own language.....
Just tell us how to fix this idiotic box instead of sending all the crap signals to kill innocent people's boxes.....
fsking this have been explained numerous times before the Tarbs MDS box was never made or intended to be used as a FTA box they are a Pay TV box if your father intends on just watching TRT which is FTA on 2 different freq's on B3 then i would advise just to get a cheap FTA reciever and use that without any hassles

He has paid the box and was happy to use it as is but you guys are right, I should have changed the box transponder settings for the Globecast on B3...but its too late now...shit happens and now I need to find either a cheap FTA box for him or got stuck with "ird disabled" message..Is there any way to clear this message or reset the box so I can use it on Globecast transponder freq? liski might be able to help but probably got upset or angry at me for my previous post...Sorry mate I didn't mean to offend anyone here...

[ 21. fsking,

Call UBI and they will explain the procedure.

For everyone else. If you don't want to get IRD Disabled do not insert the UBI Frequencies if your not a UBI Subscriber.
May want to swap it with an FTA receiver.

Thanks Liski, You are a great help mate...Its fixed in a few seconds and now running on Globecast with no headacke...

Vlad, it's 3100 older one and he probably would like to keep it for next year's soccer season so he may sign and watch his team live...
I have one faulty 3100 with power supply problem and do not know how much its worth as it's...
Thanks for the feedbacks....
Only two caps and a starter resistor gone. its typical around $4 at Dick Smiths.

fsking,

Read your PM

Vlad...
My friend at work has told me his UBI box for the Turk channels is not working and 4 days later its still not working I told hime have UBI done anything about it and he answered nothing so its been a week for him and he has nothing, he bought the box locally and is going back to the person who he bought it from.
But he paid big money for the box I was told they charge around $250 for the box he paid $500. Are they in such short supply that he had to pay that much.
King Curtis,

Has your friend actually tried calling UBI for help?

If your friend paid that much for a decoder he must of not bought it from a UBI Preferred Installer.
Very interesting its easy fixed just ring UBI and give them your account name and number and they will ask you for your box id and card number just in case if your card was mixed with another. People with two boxes have had this problem of mixing their cards in the wrong box.
Pass this to your friend and let us know how he goes.

Yes something smells about the whole deal.
I was over my friends this morning and his wife told me by mistake that they cant ring ubi for some reason i cant understand why if it was me i would be ringing them up and complaining because not only paying so much for the box that dont work the man that supplied the box installed the dish for $300 + the box $500 that $800 and all it lasted was 3 weeks.
My friend came back after 15 minutes and I told him I was going to ask for help from the internet and he got the shits because his wife told me that they cant ring ubi
why cant they ring ubi and complain because if i paid that amount of money for a pay tv service i want pictures
whats wrong with these pay tv companies dont they want to help
Well duhhhhhhhh

Obviously He bought a pirate box.
pretty obvious by now he aint a UBI customer meaning his getting it for free meaning he is pirating the service thats why he cant call

[ 27. June 2005, 03:40 PM: Message edited by: -.Lazer.- ]
