I know this has been asked before but we all know all the channel positions have been taken and some of my relo's are worried thats it no more channels coming but i think different does anyone know when the new transponder will be turned on. I also did read somewhere that they will squeeze in more positions with the existing transponder but will that be enough to bring in more Greek and Balkans channels?

No need to worry there is heaps of room just not been turned on yet <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" /> <br /><br />When the new transponder space turns on you will know about it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/default/wink.gif" />

Yes Channels 64 to 67 are now on, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/default/grin.gif" /> See most of the times my crystal ball is correct. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/default/grin.gif" /> and just think some members that I have banned insulted me over this before I banned them <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/default/mad.gif" /> suck eggs fools <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" />

Good stuff Phil. I am going to have to read your posts a little closer as you have a crystal ball that actually works. Everyone else has a crystal ball too, but I think their's must be faulty. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/default/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/default/wink.gif" />
Posted By: Jedi Knight Re: New Transponder - Wed 28 Sep 2005 02:00:AM
Now what channels are going to pop up in these spots? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/default/grin.gif" /> <br />Just wait boys, hummmmm I think some of you will flip you lids <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/default/grin.gif" /> , now again this is ONLY my opinion and the fibre connection from my Crystal ball to UBI might be cloudy again <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/default/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/default/grin.gif" /> .
Posted By: Evagoras Paligaridis Re: New Transponder - Wed 28 Sep 2005 02:05:AM
You should get that fibre connection checked out Phil. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/default/grin.gif" />

Phil, <br /><br />will I flip my lid? All I want is more Greek channels. I have been preying for a while. God has answered some with Alpha and Cyprus Sat. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/default/grin.gif" />

Well thats it! I know you guys are not letting too much out of the bag because of all those idiots on this forum, but I reckon more Greek channelsare coming real soon. And I mean real soon, like in a matter of days.

When they come on you will know about it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/default/wink.gif" />

If you have a STB3100 (M-100) please put your IRD on Standby for a few minutes and then CH64-67 should come up Program Not Authorised and hence ready for the new channels coming soon.

I'm experiencing a bad signal quality on 12425 H 22500 (Pixelation) although all other U.B.I. transponders are running fine (SQ 60-80%)
Posted By: LAZER Re: New Transponder - Fri 14 Oct 2005 03:02:AM
Signal seems normal here <br /><br />85% Signal 90%-95% Quality<br /><br />Watching Alpha Fine no Pixealation

I'll blame QLD thick clouds... although, no rain here... But, how the weather can affect only one freq. (TP) ???
Posted By: apsattv Re: New Transponder - Fri 14 Oct 2005 03:24:AM
Sookeye, doubt you will be seeing much football<br /><br />There is currently a crackdown on broadcast rights of sports events (mostly Football), on channels throughout Asia that are FTA, they are having to encrypt during sporting events.

You have a good point there YU4CFG
Posted By: Jedi Knight Re: New Transponder - Mon 17 Oct 2005 03:36:PM
Many things could cause that problem locally at UBI for that half transponder but also they could be the ones affected coming in from Telstar 10 to UBI. Remember Unwired internet has a liking for a range in frequency in C Band thus when its turned around on Optus KU you see the pixalation.
