according to lyngsat Al-manar is on T10 ..and its under the UBI line up dose that mean its coming to UBI soon or something?

Won't be coming to B3 will be only on Telstar 10

I wonder if apsattv has complained yet because all you have to do is read his site and you will see what he has sarcasticly said about this.I wonder if he complains about other situations like this from other companies.

Which other companys are stupid enough to touch this channel? Tarbs seem willing to risk their entire usage of Telstar 10 by broadcating this channel. They can do a lot better than Al Manar

Just reading every post from him in this forum shows that once the guy dislikes something he has to force his opinions on everyone. I remember joining his "little forum" a few years ago and I told him where to go and I was banned, the guy can get stuffed with his opinions and if CNN and other US news are the only source of news he will accept then he can go and kiss their asses.

Muazb I'm not forcing my opinions on anyone. I didn't start the thread. I'm entitled to my comments just as you are entitled to yours. Go have a look on lyngsat and see how many companys are willing or able to broadcast Al Manar.

Just from couriousity, what's the story with that channel (Al-Manar)? Why nobody want's to broadcast it? I do not understand arabic but I know how difficult it can be to broadcast anything which is not in-line with "big powers" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/default/frown.gif" />

You know how things work the USA bans it so then the rest of of the world follows as Howard has done and has been banned from Australia also as it used to be on TARBS then got taken off then Globecast took it on there channels on B3 then they had to take it off also and some european countries have also banned it The world follows the USA <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/default/rolleyes.gif" /> and Howard is one of his Dog's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/default/rolleyes.gif" /> Telstar 10 is a good satellite as it has a large footprint and not much can be done about it

The story reminds me of RTS after they start broadcasting killed civilians, bombing of Children’s' Hospital in Belgrade, destroying biggest cities in Yugoslavia by NATO... Soon after, NATO bombed RTS Building in the city centre of Belgrade, killing and wounding all but innocent people, journalists, cameramen, etc... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/default/frown.gif" />

Like I said I use to watch it every evening on one of my monitors and I didn't find anything repulsive outside what I said before.

ok over all those posts u have made u still havnt answerd my question vey clearly ..i asked u about if that channel almanar will it be in UBI or is it just on t10 gods knows how people gona watch it and its not FTA too??...u changed the topic and went into politics now i want a clear answer please!!!

I did answer your question it will be only on Telstar 10 and will most likely stay FTA or be part of the UBI package on there which subscription are sold to Asia And will never be on B3 i don't know how to make this much clearer then i already have

i rekon i should call ubi and get a very good answer i cant believe u guys dont no where the hell things are going? its not that i like the almanar or sumthn i just wana no why UBI has a package on t10 and when new channels come on they dont show on their service??

Cause Telstar 10 and Optus B3 are two different UBI services.

Sookeye you will never see Almanar in Australia.

You won't see it in Australia Same as you won't be watching it on Telstar 10 soon

I'm not planning on subscribing to the Telstar 10 package until at least one TV channel from Serbia, Montenegro or Croatia begins broadcasting there, but just out of curiosity -- what is the monthly subscription fee for the Telstar 10 package?

what u guys talking about i cant believe what u r posting here omg!!...we can watch t10 on c band and there is some channels that r FTA plus UBI has and expending service that took place in t10 ..and im not like so desprate about watching al-manar im Iraqi and almanar is just a lebanese channel so dont get me wrong i was just examining the transponders see if u guys will no if UBI will have Al-manar on, according to lyngsat and T10 !!
