Nile Variety! Where is it? - AUS-CITY Message Forums

Hello, Nile Variety is closed for two days now. It's saying that its experiencing technical diffculties. On Sunday morning theres a show that i've been waiting for 2 years now, its with an arabic singer, and I must see this show otherwise something is gonna happen to me. AMR DIAB will of course get a refund for loss of 2 days service for this channel... right?

apsattv, I don't have any information regarding a refund for a loss of one channel.

Doesn't matter if its a trivial amount. Customer relations.....

Theres only 6 more hours left. I'm really angry with UBI now, and if it doesnt come in few hours ill disconnect UBI, because im not paying $60 and i dont get to watch the thing i want.

Do you honestly think apsattv will change his negative views against UBI for 2006. I bet not!.

Gee turn it around why don't you This customer paid to subscribe to a package containing certain channels AS advertised on the UBI website. With no warning, one of the channels has been removed. An explanation of what's happening would be good. "Sorry sir we no longer can supply that channel" as a gesture of goodwill we will give you $5 credit. Next month we will be replaceing Nile Variety with channel BLAHBLAH"

Foxtel can get away with it as they had no control over Tech TV being removed. It wasn't like it was their decision to remove it. This isn't a dig at UBI just simple good business practice. UBI can't afford to upset their customers again. Still no answer as to where has Nile Variety gone?
