K 15 and BOM - AUS-CITY Message Forums

There has been more delays again and if all goes well K15 and B.O.M will be up and running early next week. So they will start next week?

Due to holidays and other delays I guess it's best to never give an ETA - but they are on the way that's for sure

I can just imagine how complicated it is to set up all this stuff.

I think you are a little smarter then that appsatv, I hope you also are smart enough to know how much work goes on to extend and modify a MCR.

I certainly hope not, I am always for new PayTV providers but I would like them to start and do what they claim, when they state something they should do it! I'm sure I'll hear more from you as soon as something truly pops up on the PayTV market. K 15 and BOM are two channels me and the wife are anticipating.

CH68 now has some Audio on it with Test Card Might be one of the new Maco channels sounds Macedonian to me

Really looking forward to this one. Liski can you keep us tightly posted? my friends and I have been waiting for thse to come along. I think UBI will get a noticable boost in subscriptions. Macedonians have had a raw deal when it comes to sat TV. This one is going to make it worth their while.

Like I said if all goes well K 15 and BOM will start early next week. It all has to do with upgrade work at UBI and this takes time and if not done properly it will only have to be done again at more expence.

Well we will see what happens this week. I had a few calls this week for the above and I told them what UBI has said over the phone and what i have read on this forum.

Are those test cards or spare channel positions still on from channel 67 to 72.?

68-72 yes

CH68 to CH72 are still blank channels.

Are the channels fully functional on the african satellites? or are they still running feeds?

Thanks P Debono, however has anyone watched these channels of late? I know initially they had test feeds running. Has programming started? can anyone give them a report card?

Haa yes the UBI guys are working flat out but what comes No 1 is quality work first.

Well for the ones that PM'd me or asked on the forum about K 15 and BOM all I can say is sometime this week, more delays but they will be on UBI soon enough. (I hope).

Yes call it a bad connection to my Crystal ball. All I know is that UBI Engineers are flat out doing changes to there Master Control room for these new channels and also for the next carrier. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" />

what happened to k15 just now? sum arabic sounding channel is on it. btw would A1 plus be occupying one of the two empty balkan channels? just thought ill ask coz it seems like its coming this way after north america

UNIK, I think that A1 plus migh tbe going on the other sat provider with pink and stuff on it. Can anyone back me up?

just because globecast have it in the USA doesnt mean tv plus will have it but will see what happens

yes thats what i thought. it wouldnt mean tvplus getting it just because globecast have it on USA. hopeffully UBI gets it. or at least one of the other decent ones like Kanal5 or Sitel

But you never know a lot of Kanal 5 programming is produced by K-15 who produce K-15 and BOM

When are these channels going to get new content, they have been live for quit a while. I mean a dvd of the same footage woudl cost much less than a ubi subscription. Liski please indicate when you espect new content on the channels. Like Comedy on K15 and actual shows on BOM

The content is still being worked on but every week there is new content shown on BOM. BOM will eventually have content from the private TV stations from Macedonia. Expect to see folk music starting on K-15.

Every week there is new content on BOM? I can recite most of the shows. Folk music on K-15 sounds good, but how about some comedy? My friends and I were expecting to see full clips from k-15 instead of the 15 sec snipets.
