We plan to have the Tv Chile signal up on PAS8 in the next couple of weeks. Our Spanish package will include TV Chile, Telefe and TV Espagna and will cost about $30 per month. Subscribers will need a new set top box, which we will be selling at about $200 each, but they can use their existing dish and cabling. Subscribers will be responsible for organising installation. We will be offering free set top boxes to the first 2000 subscribers

Tracesat let i-view do there own advertising, but its good to let people know whats going on as long as they don't get ripped off. I can't see these companies lasting, too many of them getting around.

Customers will need to sign a 12 month contract. There will also be longer terms available for those who wish to pay for their equipment over a period of time - perhaps 24 months. You are welcome to provide me with a list of potential customers..

No Problems sir for you the world, but for companies just trying to jump on the band wagon NOW WAY!!. Yes tell all the options that will be available in the near future, but whats got me stuffed how are all these companies going to survive.

My email to them.... could you confirm me when is the signal comming to Australia and wich satellite you are gonna used,KU or C band. Their replied. We plan to have the TVN signal up by next week on the PAS 8 satellite, KU Band. Thanks

most likely to be on one of the former tarbs freq's such as these ones 12326 H 28066 12526 H 28066 12606 H 28066 these freq's below are already in use by TV Plus, WMI, Horizons TV so it may turn up on the channels that are playing the Panglobal Promos 12646 H 28066 12726 H 28066 so keep an eye on the freq's listed above as im pretty certain it will turn up on one of those freq's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/default/wink.gif" />

My email to them.. Could you please confirm me about the spanish channels when they are gonna be on pas8 and what frequencies and encryption you are gonna use? Their replied.. At this stage, we should have Telefe and TVN on PAS8 next week. They will be available free to air until May. not sure about tchnical specs at the moment. We will make those details known on our website when they are available

we will be contacting customers by phone. we currently have a spanish speaking person to take calls at the moment, as the word has leaked out and we are receiving many calls. Once our full call centre is up and running, spanish speakers will call customers. We are still working thru some tech details, but I anticipate the signal going up within a week. Not guaranteed though

Hey Tracesat Brisbane You did a lot advertising in the begin of this forum to I View, and where is I View perfomance?. Do you know any fresh news on what is going on with TVN Chile?

I sent so many emails to this people and the only thing i got back is that They can not use I-VIEW as trade name there is another company with that name in Melbourne and once again legal issue.So my friend your guess is good as mine only hoping that one day it will come back.

What surprised me is how come TVChile is actually sending people to i-view web's site for further info.....If TVChile went to the trouble of having that info on its web site is because the deal was almost done....now that iview has changed name what does TVChile think about this???? do they know of this change???? Has anyone informed them????

there new name is SELECTV they have registered the new buisness name and also a web domain has been registered also for the SELECTV name

the deal are almost signed and all but everyone must remember this is a business that poped up 3 months ago. as phill said once you have to go to different countries sign contracts, have lawyers go and see if the law is ok and it all takes time. maybe it a done deal with tv chile and others but it will take at least 3 more months to get everything done well.

I can't go without saying that TV Chile was pritty good and it would be good to have it back. As for the present latino package UBI is offering to the Latin community it is not all that good really. Apart from TVE, TELEFE and the CLatino the rest is not worth it. So we would end paying for three chanels and on top if the transmission is going to be of the same quality that we have seen during the test piriod, well............. what can I say?

well said alctron. gala is not that bad, and by the way tv chile is worse then all of them, that shows the taste you have. to ubi, don`t listen to this crap, the latino package is great. if tv chile replaces any of the channels on the latino pk, it will be a backward step. don`t make that mistake ubi. how many chilians had tarbs, answer; no many, most had pirate boxes. so why make them happy.
