My Father wants Pink/BN/BK but I have continually been reminding him that the quality is very poor.
Only last week we bought a new 135cm W/S Panasonic TV and now that TV plus is encrypted we cannot see how bad it looks as it was very bad before on our 68cm TV.
I know if we sign up with TVplus and put those Balkans channels on our tv after a few days my father will be complaining about his eyes again, now that was with the 68cm tv what will it look like with the 135cm?.
Another thing, why doesn't the representive of TV Plus on this forum give the Balkans people an idea when and if they will be fixing the quality problem up, why do I have a feeling we are getting treated like a mushroom that we are getting feed bullshit and kept in the dark.
Why doesn't Satfreak answer this simple question, how can you expect people to sign up when you can't even do this. We didn't spend thousands to get a headache just watching TV.
By the way is it just us, or are there others that complain about their eyes after watching these channels?.

why not watch it FTA for a little longer on UBI they still have on BK/BN/MKTV/Planeta and the PINK channels should return shortly ?? to the info that is on this forum

then once UBI and TV Plus have there channels encrypted u can choose which company u want to join

It's even worse with UBI. NO Pinks and also soon the other balkan channels will be gone. So with TV Plus you have a temporary bad signal and with UBI you will have a permanent blank screen, easy choice. So maybe Lazer is right, enjoy the FTA on UBI until they are gone and by then TV Plus will have many more excellent balkan channels and improved quality.

YU4CFG
No he didn't copy your thread, Its the same story everywhere, and to make it worst some of the customers with newer TV's are using Noise reduction on TV plus to improve the picture, the trouble is the faces don't have texture.
I've had 3 calls from people asking what to do I say ring TV plus every day after day but they say the Phone is always engaged or nobody answers.
they have a BIG problem and personally I think they will not fix it and this is why Satfreak has been dodging this bullet

Like I said its TV plus's problem, As for Satfreak Please answer these question, WHEN IS TV PLUS GOING TO FIX THESE QUALITY PROBLEMS. If you don't answer this thread it means to me you are hiding the truth.

Maybe we should send emails to TV Pink to put some pressure on TV+. It is just idea ?
Posted By: Jedi Knight Re: What do we do - Tue 08 Mar 2005 02:34:PM
Trust me I bet they have been getting plenty and ignoring them.
Posted By: reuder Re: What do we do - Tue 08 Mar 2005 04:55:PM
can i ask why is the picture quality bad, is it because they compress the signal too much, use poor tech equipment etc?
Posted By: Jedi Knight Re: What do we do - Wed 09 Mar 2005 02:37:AM
Compression to high / PAL to NTSC to PAL again the Dreambox comes up as only Res 480X576 , 25 FPS,2.627 MBIT/S,,,,CRAP!!!

I have been tipped off that some in the Serbian forums are complaining about TV plus and NO SERVICE, and the Quality of the picture.
Pitty I can't speak Serbian.

480x576 is ok obviously an NTSC source signal, e.g PAL formats often 544x576 (sky nz use this)

as for the bitrate is this fixed ? or VBR (variable)such as used in stat muxxing (e.g all channel in the mux alter bitrate in realtime depending on the content)

The old saying applys garbage in garbage out if they are passing it straight through as transmitted then the low bitrate is on the source signal.
