Hi Phil, I know you keep watch on a lot of satellite and pay tv but have you heard now finally optus is negotiating with foxtel to upgrade to digital? They are also negitating with new concessions. I wonder what's going to happen?

as i understood the situation, optus was negotiating to resell foxtel digital. I don't think they're considering upgrading to digital, they've got other plans.

The Biggest problem Optus has is piracy and thats the reason why they want to change to digital. you would not believe the people that have the balls to climb the pole(ladder) to re-connect the cable, also lot of this is done by there own employees.

Optus Cable is the most hacked Pay Tv in Australia. Gold cards are now appearing everywhere that work in Optus Jerrold units as well as the fact that Jerrolds can also be chipped to provide free tv.

And this just in , Telstra are pressuring News ltd and PBL not to accept the offer of Optus going digital. This is what a big mess in the pay tv industry. Foxtel said they'll break even in 1999 to 2000 and then 1995 to 1996 and now they have blown out by another $100 million. Phil what is yout point in starting the topic about dreambox?! From the beginig the every thing what you did had a goal to destroy TV+. Starting with deciving people with that lie that UBI has the right to broadcast PINK channels, and now with this new shit called dreambox! What dreambox has to do with any of satelite companies? Nothng. You post this post for only one reason and that is to do more damage to TV+! I told you once and I will tell you now, I never send you an email and I never abused you and your familly. I said it was some arse back in the days where you were playing games after i banned you but you continually came back, IF I was banned I would not come back period but you know all you wanted to do is cause trouble and all you have done is cause trouble for members on this forum and for TV plus. About the Dreamboxes now you are saying that the dreamboxes were made just for Tv plus?? wake up they have been around before tv plus was a wet dream. What about other members talking about them? what about all the other forums? suppose you think I own all of them too.

What I was saying is that you started few topics about dreamboxes and in every topic MAIN thing is how people can hack TV+ with them. YU4CFG I wish you are closer so I could call you on drink or two in my house and you to check quality of TV+ picture on my 106 cm tv set. It is not as clear as channel nine or ten, but no normal person can not ask for that, it is maybe 5% less quality than those two channels which I found very good. And belive me I'm a pain in the arse if I dont get what I'm paying for. If it is really that bad like you saying I would post it here long time ago, but it is not.

ja you must be blind or you need to look at other Satellite channels to make a comparison. you need to look at Videoland on Pas 8 and thats C Band in NTSC ITS Perfect!!! runs around 6.5,m/bits sometimes, you need to look at DW on Asiasat 2 now thats a very good picture. I did. I have few friends with UBI and I did compare ...... no difierence to what I see on my TV on TV+. And I see very well.
