well I have just phoned tv plus and the operator was not aware that pink/xtra & bn are fta..he said "you see I am not even aware they are fta at all... its most likely some techincal error or something and within a few days it ll go back to normal".. so yes sum dish repointing on da weekend <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/default/wink.gif" />

this is wat i have ben wating for the tv plus channs to come so i can see what they look like i have been told that they look not good tis mornin i go to my friend who has dish and i lok at the picture its no that good what i wont to now is can you buy something to make picture better on my tv befor i by tvplus as i not happy its lot better back home why so bad here my friend has big tv i have big tv can we both go to elect shop and by somthing to fix sorry poor english

Sorry The SERB, there's really nothing you can do to improve the picture. Unfortunately TV Plus has decided to get the channels via the USA, and with 2 conversions and compression, we get what we have now on TV Plus, crap quality and crap sound. Sorry

thank tv plus for put picture for see because black before but now we see bad picture other family see bad pict we were to get tv plus this week but with black picture we not see get tv plus now if they kep black we would have got tv plus and get shock when se. i have to talk to frien ans se if picture can fix if fix we get no fix no get

well I just turned my dish to pas8 and the quality is shocking...the only ch that looks ok is BN...I dont think I d pay 65 for it...or hang on if I was earning 1,000 000 a year heheh yes then..but then there is also a dreambox I could afford too....decisions decisions..... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/default/wink.gif" />

Does it take that long to fix a encryption fault, RUBBISH Its Irdeto 2, could you imagine Foxtel Austar taking this long to fix a problem, RUBBISH ,,, Foxtel and Austar do the same trick to allow other packages to be viewed with a lesser package, a marketing ploy. This is the way it is if they had HD quality go for it TV Plus and people would love and like it BUT The Quality is so poor and because so many are buying HD TV's with digital set top boxes + some have Austar or Foxtel and many have digital FTA with its superb picture quality your brain has been tuned to quality and of course don't forget DVD's and TV plus let the community look at this. If its a stuff up fair enough but if it was done on purpose WHAT A MONUMENTAL MISTAKE

i disagree. if i was a serb i would repoint my dish now. if it's free quality is not important. bad quality picture better than no picture. and once they get used to watching these channels 24/7 they can subscribe to tv plus.

And what happens when you flick to your local Ch 7,9,10, ABC, SBS on Digital TV or heaven forbid HD TV. What do you do then, as you can't watch tv plus all your life

you can. 90% turks i know with UBI don't watch australian channels at all. I'm sure older serbs wouldn't care about australian channels or channel quality.

The rep said to me its not a promotion (I asked if it was) we have encrryption issues with our sat provider, could it mean...... shortly??

This is a somewhat cunning move on the part of TV Plus. Now that UBI is about to enhance its Balkan package with Serbian channels, TV Plus is all of a sudden being gracious to the Serbian community and offering a free preview of its own Serbian channels. It is a sign of desperation on the part of TV Plus, and I still think that ultimately TV Plus will go bankrupt. I sure as hell won't be shedding any tears for them.

Yes but the existing customers are still paying. They should refuse to pay as long as it stays Free to air

I read on another forum that they had a ticker running across the screen, saying it will encrypt in January, so to subscribe call ####### I'm not sure if they're for real, or it's some kind of mix up.

Your box is disabled because you left it on a UBI transponder when clearly told not to leave it on if you Don't want UBI.

why don't you Pm YU4CFG he now understands how the System works and why it disables your box.

If Monaro had been priced $32,000 here Holden would have sold a lot more than 45,000 of them by now. How many Commodores do they sell for the same price? Just imagine how many more better built and more sporty Monaros they would sell instead. The one and only reason for the price disparity is competition and nothing else.

If the Monaro was sold for 32K then they would have to drop the price below 32K for all the other models 1/The Calais 2/Berlina 3/SS 4/SV8 and even the Budget Executive. and if the impossible ever happened what would Ford do to match Holden. We pay too much for our cars in Australia, we get ripped off by the day. another thing the Monaro only appeals for certain buyers and the statistics at Holden tell us that over 42% of Monaro owners have had one back in the seventies, and 14% still have there car back in the seventies today with a new one parked next to it.And don't forget the Monaro is only a 4 seater not 5.
