Posted By: Evagoras Paligaridis Re: Selectv Channels - Fri 21 Oct 2005 02:12:AM
I scanned this frequency ( 12526H 28800 ) and I received CH-0-0001, CH-0-0002, CH-0-0003 and CH-0-0004. I have a 49% signal quality but i do not see any channels. All I get is a blank screen and it says that the service is not currently running. Can anyone tell me what is wrong.
Posted By: LAZER Re: Selectv Channels - Fri 21 Oct 2005 02:14:AM
It's Working as i can see the channels

But the Signal of it is weaker then the other transponders on PAS8 maybe your dish might need adjusting for this freq as it the weakest on PAS8 at the moment
Posted By: Evagoras Paligaridis Re: Selectv Channels - Fri 21 Oct 2005 02:18:AM
Would it have anything to do with the PIDS?

The reason why I ask is because I get a good signal from other transponders on PAS8.
Posted By: Liski Re: Selectv Channels - Fri 21 Oct 2005 02:19:AM
Don't expect to see Venevision as their content is already on UBI WORLD TV on "Canal de las Estrellas"
Posted By: LAZER Re: Selectv Channels - Fri 21 Oct 2005 02:20:AM
As I said its weaker then the other transponders on PAS8 these are the PID's anyway

TV Chile VPID 33 APID 63 Spanish FTA
TVE International VPID 34 APID 64 FTA
Selectv Info Card VPID 35 APID 65 FTA
Selectv Info Card VPID 36 APID 66 FTA

I had the same problem with that transponder i lowered the dish about 10mm and the signal qualityu improved a lot...Also improved the other transponders. And by the way onlythe chilean community will move to SELECTV plus a lot of people from english speaking background,They are introducing good quality English channels no more to say,Time will tell.
Posted By: Evagoras Paligaridis Re: Selectv Channels - Fri 21 Oct 2005 04:48:AM
Still can not get anything. I may have to adjust the dish.

BTW the PID numbers were different. My decoder box will not allow me to change the PID to the correct figures.
