I believe in Sydney Australia there has to be more Spanish Channels i could write out about a list of 50, but whats that gonna do, the bastards at the Sattelite aint gonna give a shit they dont give a shit about what people want, maybe they only give a shit about what they're friends wanna watch, as ive said before i could name a couple channels they wont come cause they wont give a shit, for example i called UBI ages ago like 1year ago, and said that there needs to be more spanish channels, they replied 'yes were thinking of bringing more spanish future' its been a year and still nothing, why cant they stop lieing to us and say we cant cause were (think of an excuse), Noe theres another company bringing spanish channels right, and theres a channel from URUGUAY, VTV, right, and i said to UBI look theres another company around and theyve got VTV Uruguay coming soon, and they also got TV Chile, and UBI goes theyve reserved those channels so we cant bring them", i reckon UBI is full of shit, because i think they dont wanna work, as i saw earlier there waas a channel gone, did they fix it straight away, no they wanna satisfy themselves and they dont care if we want the channels, they only care they get the $60 every month, they dont give a shit if you see a channel or not. Because they get satisfaction out of the $60 per month, which they probably get a shit load of money each month with people paying the $60 each month. There are some people getting ripped off, did you all know that (Theyre ****ing bastards i tell ya) theyre charging $60 a month to whoever no matter how many channels they got eg. The Arabics ar paying $2.50 per channel, while the Greeks are paying $6.00 per channel,. but us latinos have to pay $7.50 per channel. why do they do that it should be equal man, they should change the prices due to the number of channels you got in your language not pay $60 full stop, no thats using the people, and then they call why havent you paid the next month (if it happens), oyu say its too much money i havent got the money and they expect you to pay that money, see Selectv is kinda decent cause see this $9.00 per channel see thats reasonable but asking for $60.00 for 8 channels that just a RIPOFF!!!!!!!!! LAT1DO, You make me laugh. TV Colombia was off-air and it took TV Colombia some time to get the channel back on-air for UBI. Signing a new channel can take days, weeks or even months to sort out the terms & conditions for their broadcast. The 2 channels you’ve mentioned have signed an exclusive agreement with SelecTV so UBI is not full of shit – they told you the truth. You might have a list of 1000 channels that UBI or any other company can add but have you thought about the need for a "international feed" required? Hence the delay in getting Mega, Alpha, Star, Sigma and Alter Globe (the Greek channels) a special feed was required for our region. You might think UBI is a rip-off but that is your a opinion and your entitled to that. But also factor in the cost of bringing the channel from point A to point B. Also factor in that when the basic English channels are added there will be no change in the monthly cost. It’s sad to see that your not happy with the UBI service being provided – at the end of the day it’s the customers choice wether to subscribe with UBI or any other ethnic pay-tv company.

LAT1DO, It's like this, they provide the chaanels, there are 3 deals. $50/60 or $70 a month, don't like it? Don't buy it simple... Arabs and Turks are a majority as are the Greeks, thus they are first priority as back in the TARBS days these groups of people subscribed most... Again, if you don't like it, don't buy it.

Think of FOXTEL, how much money they ripoff people and how you cant choose which channels u want to watch and they say what packages you can choose. A company cannot live on just the channels you want, they have to include others as well. So in terms what UBI offers for their service all channels for $60 a month is a good deal, compared with foxtel and their prices.

I'm paying $63 a month to get the "digital" expirence minus any movie channels... It's for the folks but imo that's alot of money for low level class channels. Give me Preslava and I'm good.

Could anyone call selectv to see about Canal sur and Ultilisima ?/ i called but they have the answering machine.

I called selectv and on friday they will start Subscribers for the spanish channels.

I wonder how many they will get and If they do get a few it will be mainly for TV Chile i guess so.

they will have alot i mean there are over 20,000 Uruguayans in Sydney alone and most will sign up. they we have other groups that may not join UBI but will do so with Selectv like The peruvian, Bolivian, Honduras and some Argos as TELEFE is now repeating all programs and Canal SUr does show news from the above and some Argo Shows. They ofcause Chilean community is also big. anyways i hope for the best as i want the Uruguayan channels.

I called Selectv and subscribed to the Spanish channels: you need a credit card for the costs as monthly fees as discounted which i didn;t really like as there are alot of spanish people more so older people who don;t have one. the costs are $44.95 1 month in advance $29.95 for the smart card sent express. She didn;t say anything about Real Madrid tv so i guess thats not coming.

Look what happened to Galaxy Pay TV when it folded back in the mid ninties, the receivers came in and wound down Galaxy Pay tv and the receiver accidently deducted over a thousand dollars from some of the customers by mistake and it took months for the people to get their money back and thats after hundreds of phone calls and letters. And that is true most older people don't have credit cards and would be offended by being discrimated against by not having one. It was my wifes credit card that got ripped by the receivers for over $1150 that I did back 9 months later without interest. They should have only withdrawn only $42. NEVER AGAIN

well thats great free for a week, oh why did i get happy i havent subscribed yet Y soy uruguayo. When we have the money we will connect it maybe.
