UBI vs TV Plus court outcome - AUS-CITY Message Forums

well its mid may almost, does anyone know wats the court outcome so far?

It's still ongoing - I will post the information once it's all over and done with.

the next court date i think is 12th may, which is tomorrow. I think that is the final one but i could be wrong <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/default/tongue.gif" />

It's on 12/May with 19/May now also listed - It's still ongoing and I doubt there will be an outcome very soon.

Any more new on the court case. The wife is pestering me as she wants her home channels back. I see UBI has done a excellent job of the Spanish channels all we hope now is UBI can do similiar to the Balkans package

Blame greedy Tv plus for this mess.

I have a feeling TV Plus will lose. If this were an open and shut case, they would have won a long time ago. I hope they lose -- it would serve them right for acting like bullies and trying to establish a monopoly. I've been reduced to watching MKTV since UBI temporarily pulled the plug on BKTV, but it's OK -- I got to watch the Eurosong competition last Saturday night, for the first time after 15 years. With all the MKTV I'm watching, I'm also learning a new language :-)

It all depends on what evidence they want to present to court, so the lenght of the case is no indicator. It might as well mean that TV Plus is presenting more evidence so have a better chance of winning. But you never know. Its hard for us to speculate as we have no detailed information on the case. I don't really care who wins, but after all since TV Plus was competent enough to sign an exclusive contract, they have the right to enforce it. I see nothing wrong on what they are doing. Business is business.

Yes but at the end of the day the customer is getting screwed, I will say it again I would like to see UBI and TV plus carry the channels but I have a feeling that Tv plus Don't want it this way. See Tv plus to survive want NO COMPETITION AT ALL!!!!!.

Even without competition I highly doubt they will survive.

For Tv plus its 1+1= 2.5 trust me they will need 3 to survive

yeah i think so too...there needs to be competition..but tv plus knows there is not enough room for 2 companies to run the balkans.....

yes I am well aware of this.. If TV+ didnt have a legal case on their hands and market confusion by an illegall broadcaster I am sure that things would have been very different.

I guess Serbs, must have done something wrong to God to treat us this way. I might think it has something to do with the communism in the country that tried to rip people away from their religion by forbidding them to go to church and to celebrate their name day. I just don't understand why we never get treated equally. The whole, bloody country, now enjoys good quality broadcast from their part of the world, except us! Everyone is ecstatic about the tones of channels they will get and the English ones to follow and we have to pay $65 bloody dollars for 2 channels. ...and you ask who won?!?!?! Darth Vader we lost man! read my first ever post I won't be subscribing to tv plus not untill they can give us a equal amount of channels like The arabs and turks get on UBI + some English channels that you can bet UBI will get for $65. you wonder why our young youth that is smarter than us older ones are saying there is other ways of getting it for cheaper dad.

How much is a UBI Arab customer paying for his 20 channels and the rumour around now is they will be getting good english channels all in the same price. Thats what we look at not 4 channels for $65. Please UBI Get all the rest and some of us will concider.

I live in Canada but have been reading this forum for a while because I like Satelite TV, no matter what part of the world. I came to conclusion, as many others that Satfreak is one of the biggest morons I have ever came accross, in person or over the net. In so many cases when people had questions about TV Plus, the type of questions which don't show better side of TV Plus, he never answers. A now he comes out with stupid cocky remarks about his company winning court case. What I suggest you is to get a life, you loser. Why have ppl waited before for weeks to get some answers. And we all know you were around but not answering. I am pretty sure admin can tell that you were logged in around the time when poeople were asking questions. I hate to say it but I live for the day to see your thief company go under and you go back to 'kopanju kanala'. Have a great day
