To my little group of beloved friends that hang with me here on the forum, I thought I'd update on the last month in which I have been absent from the forum. Me and D took time out to visit one of our favourite places -- Los Angeles. We rented a lovely bungalow in Marina Del Rey a short walk from Venice Beach. The sun was warm (winter here in Australia, so that was very nice!). And there was the most pleasant cool breeze that would come off the pacific ocean. It was a constant mixture of cool and warm which is much more exciting IMO than a consistent temp. We took our bikes... ![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/vacation/bikes7712.jpg) Boxing up for flight
At Venice Beach
There was a nice flat path specific for bicycle use. It was wonderful! Below are a couple of examples of the many vendor stalls along the beach. ![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/vacation/freakshow7740.jpg) Singing, rapping, freakshow, etc.

More to come...

Wow, I envy your vacation! I'm not much for gambling, but always wanted to check out Vegas. Did you get a chance to see any good shows? I loved your pics of Venice, such a culture clash! Hope you all are enjoying yourselves to the fullest, you deserve it!
Love ya oodles & oodles, Bless ~Jaime~

That is so cool ! Ever since you used Anubis as your avatar last spring, you're all I think about when I see him. I wonder if your guides were giving you a warm "Hello" by placing him there at the exact time you would be there?! Anyhow, I think it's great that you bumped into him! Love ya lots & bless, ~Jaim~

WOW! Leave it to you to find something REAL & organic in a place of illusion & commercialism Alisa. I love all the pics above, but my fav is your friend in the mirror! I do see the swirls of energy in your Black/white version & trust that you did indeed catch something that responded to your request. WELL DONE! I just love the way you bring things into your reality, you are a pro ! I wonder what it could be? I have pondered taking photos of a mirror, but never have. Well not on purpose anyway. I'm inspired to start a little project. I think I'll start to snap mirror photos & see what I can come up with, thank you for the inspiration....you always inspire me! It's nice to see that even on vacation, the wheels in your higher self's mind are always a turnin ...thank you. I'll await more exciting photos of your vaca., as there's always something exciting to see in your pics! Off to go look at your friend in a bigger blown up version to see what I can 'see'!

Aww, thanks so much for that Jaime! How kind and uplifting you are to me. You made my day much brighter. And I have more pics to share (as I find some time to prepare them), but I feel like adding a comment inspired by the smilie you used: I had a super cool spiritual experience in Las Vegas. It was on my first morning waking there. As I woke, rather than opening my physical eyes, I opened my third eye. I could sense the eye and it was really large (maybe 5x the size of one of my physical eyes) - above and between my eyebrows. How I did this, I don't consciously know for the sake of repeating it. What I saw was so confronting to my basically fully conscious mind that I very quickly shut that eye. I can only try to comprehend what I saw and am even less able to describe it well. My vision was black and white (as it always has been thus far when I see clairvoyantly, though this is the first time I have ever been aware of actually opening my third eye whilst fully conscious). I saw what I can only sorta describe as a ball or balls racing about as if on a track. After thinking about this and trying to describe it a couple of times, I have decided it might be that I saw my interpretation of atomic structure in which I was near the nucleus. Whatever it was, I knew it to be a realer reality and something my consciousness/brain was entirely unused to perceiving and freaked out by. Nevertheless, it made me feel amazingly energized and grateful. As I pondered it song lyrics would loop in my mind, the angel opened her eyes. But I digress. And as I said, more vacation-related photos to come. Meanwhile, I'll be very interested in the results of your mirror photograph experiment!

Oh my ! I can hardly wait to start highlighting all of the things I see in these awesome pics of yours! Each pic brings something new into view, even the ones that are different pics of the same guitar. Do you happen to know who's guitars these were? I believe when music (creative art energy) is played on instruments like these, that the energy & essance of the artist lingers within & around the instrument always (even if the artist is still alive). I am blown away by the things you've caught in these pics! Surprised? NO! Since you always seem to produce such gems of this sort . Unfortunately I have to work the next 5 days in a row, so I don't know when I'll actuallyu fit a good highlighting session in. But I promise to make a real effort at making time to do this. I wonder if you are seeing all of the things that I am seeing in these? Thank you Alisa for yet another great example of how strong the power of the mind & spirit work together, I just love your work !

Thanks for such great feedback and comments, Jaime! You really know how to make a person feel fantastic and special. Bless you. I agree with your belief that creative energy lingers around instruments. But at the time I didn't even think about that at the time. I just saw interesting reflections in the glass and I thought, there is definitely some sort of spirit here. I didn't even think about the fact that antiques were sold here. To be honest, I was sat on a bench outside the store having a little rest from lots of walking, and for kicks D decided to have a go at the little grabber machine (and he got one of the little balls). So I had time to "reflect" and realized it was a good place for a pic. I'm sure you see many things that I don't, so I'll be anxious to have them pointed out if you get a chance given your busy schedule. I don't know for sure who owned any of the guitars, but it looks like maybe the Beach Boys for the center guitar. Thanks again for the uplifting comments and point of view on these pics! I still have more to add. Soon!

Whilst standing in line for a ride at California Adventure Park (part of Disneyland), I noticed in the distance what looked like a wolf in the form of a mountain (or the other way around). I've tried to look this up to see if the mountain design is intentional, but the most I can find is that a few people say it is supposed to resemble a bear. And it kinda does resemble a bear actually. But for me, it looks more like a wolf. And still, I don't know if it is intentional. What do you think? ![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/vacation/disney_wolf7859.jpg)

Eeek, such better quality. But I do love my little old 2.1 megapixel in large part for the fact that it does tend to capture that blurrier world between stark reality and ethereal spirit.
