Phil,<br /><br />That is true but its all 4x3 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/default/frown.gif" /> 16x9 only taken off in UK and Germany.<br /><br />Did you know Australia is one of the handfull of countries to offer 16x9 HD TV!!<br /><br />I bought my self a big screen 16x9 HDTV. Time to get into 1050 lines!! Just as well my DVD player has component output with progressive scan (so thats 100 Hz non interlaced), yippee.<br /><br />I also got my self the highest DGTEC HD TV with multiple Picture in Picture, HD text, true 1050 line output, the works. It was about 100 more than the mid range. I figured better to have to many than not enough features..
