Good day out, I enjoyed it except I forgot to bring the trucking camera with me.<br />Some very strong Power Torque cars there on the dyno some legal street cars showing 490 HP at the back wheels. Yes, the pick of all was I think a Martini coloured VY Senator with a stroked and whatever 440 cube gen III with 8 throttle bodies. What a monster. The car which was expected to beat it, a supercharged white ute which was strapped to the dyno, yes they actually strapped the tyres down on it, had trouble and the engine was leaning out so they had to shut it off. We met someone there that did take photos and if they do send them to me, I will host them on the forum, but there is not doubt about it, some of these guys really spend a lot of time, money and effort on their cars, but what got me was the amount of supercharged GEN III's. Harrop engineering had a GEN III supercharged Hothouse Monaro, looked so stock under the bonnet which was putting out around 420 HP at the back wheels and they told me that the bottom end was stock, only a cam with lift in it. But what I liked the most was the array of different shifters you can get for the T-56 Tremec box. The one of my choice was the RIP shifter, they had two gearboxes there, side by side, one with a standard shifter, one with the RIP shifter, you have to try them to believe the difference. I am saving my money!!! The RIP shifter has a magical 2nd to 3rd shift and it is so positive and accurate plus its about 40% shorter shift in all directions. I love it.
