From what I know the Orbit channels along with the Rotanna channels bouquet are just some of the premium channels in the Middle East, so SymbolRate your a bit wrong.
Some channels might be available on C-Band and are FTA but it's hard for most people to hoist up a C-Band dish for one or two channels - UBI bringing them to KU-Band allows everyone to enjoy them with a smaller dish.
MBC 2 or MBC 3 - are under the MBC banner are exclusive to WMI in this region
Space Toon Arabic – too much content from Cartoon Network so unable to bring that channel in this region
Al Jazeera Sport – too much content owned by Fox Sports, ESPN and etc in this region
Showtime – not allowed as all movies are owned by either The Movie Network Australia or Showtime Network Australia
SymbolRate I suggest you read up on what exclusive and non-exclusive broadcasting rights mean in the pay tv industry.
