I have knowlodge in satellite service and I know how things works interms of STB and satellite signal..there is no way the satellite provider can interfere with the another companies STB 'UBI'. There had to be a problem with the box it self Optus D2 send fine signal to any other FTA boxes with no problems..infact sometimes you can insert the UBI card into another reciever with Ir-d embeded and it works great with the FTA channels..those boxes must get changed its really annoying special when we have to switch everytime when we need to a certain channel.
