While the fall smartphone season generally belongs to Samsung, Apple, and Google, OnePlus has been making plenty of noise the past two years. After moving to a six-month refresh cycle with the 3T, the Oppo offshoot has steadily increased pressure on its heavyweight competitors with low-priced phones packed with specs that rival the premium Android flagships. But this year, OnePlus might have a new trick up its sleeve. According to CNet, when the OnePlus 6T launches later this fall it will have more than a refreshed design and specs. For the first time, it will also have U.S. carrier support.
