With the Aussie Trading Post ditching its paper and going fully on-line, it has been thus far useless in advertising our puppies after 2 weeks. We finally advertised on the Telegraph and got a call and found a home for one of the puppies on the first day of the ad. We have had approximately 100 views on our trading post ad, but not a single enquiry. All the while our ad gets further and further back on the search pages. Plenty of people don't go on-line to browse for bargains (and many still don't have internet), not to mention that having a classified ads paper in hand still has it's comfort and advantages. I have my doubts that the Trading Post will flourish now without a paper copy and when there is eBay if you want to go online to buy or sell. Though pet placements remain a problem as eBay doesn't do pets.
