I decided to go and see my doctor to get my usual dose of sleeping tablets but my doctor was not available because he was studying for exams, so I decided to go to another surgery and see a new doctor. Well what an experience this was. Once in his surgery I gave a brief history of my medical condition considering they had no medical history information. I asked for sleeping tablets and before I could even tell him what type he said to me: "MY TIME IS UP". Shit, you're treated like cattle, you are only allowed 15 minutes maximum otherwise you are in overtime. What a racket this is, they won't give you more than 25 - 50 tablets (depending on brand), now there are 365 days in a year and if you go to bed and sleep 365 days a year you require 365 tablets and these people know that I have a history of not being able to sleep at night and expect you to come back every 25 days to get another prescription for another 25 tablets. This is disgraceful. After all, the tablets cost money, the doctors costs more and you have to drive 15 kms to a miserable medicare office to collect your miserable $17.85 refund and when you come out you find your car has been broken into and damaged. We are definitely going down hill, driven by the almighty greedy dollar
Phil
