Hi, all have been thinking about what you are all talking about and I believe it comes down to who has the best solicitor I guess. Because the kid that was sued for excessive force could he argued. That he has been trained to defend himself and that he used a appropriate amount of force to subdue he’s attacker as he feared for his life ( ok there only kids but we are dragging them In to court aren’t we ! so we have to treat them like adults don’t we ? )

Don’t get me wrong if this kid was using he’s training to bully kids around then he’s deserves what the court dishes out but if this kid was only defending him self then doesn’t he of she have the right to use all means?

What would be the outcome if this kid was walking down the street and some low life that is older tried to kidnap or assault them and he or she did not no how to defend themselves and they ended up just another news story

Now think of the same scenario only the kid in mentioned had some self defense training and got away from he’s would be attacker what would be your thoughts then

It all comes down to good parenting doesn’t it if you tell your kids it’s alright to bully other kids you deserve to get litigated against.

However, if you send your kids to these classes so that they have a chance against a like scenario above and you instill good values on your kids and teach them right from wrong I do not believe that sending your kids to these classes is wrong

When I was a kid and went to these classes I could always remember what the teachers would tell us about what we learned and that it should only be used for self-defense and not for attack and I believe that, the quality schools still teach this.

Sorry about the jaw cathy why don’t you explain what happed did some just come up to and give you a kung fu chop to the head or was there more to it ? like to know
