Yes Phil, you are correct once again. Rush and its getting worse, you are from the old school where anything under 100% effort is not wanted.
I always instruct my students at Uni never to rush anything thats affects quality but some times I think I'm bashing my head against the wall. Since I personally know you and I know you are one of a kind you try to perfect everything you do and you do it. Regardless if its cars or computers/electronics/building trade or whatever. After all like others have said, you Drag raced your Monaro for 10 years, you won Mr Holden in a street car using a Holden V8 engine where everybody else used Chevs. You had to be different, you never blew an engine, gearbox or differential, you never missed a gear, the monaro never dropped a drop of oil or water on the track, while others blew their engines, gearboxes and diffs + spewed oil and water all over the track and as for your Hi-fi TV system, well we won't get into that you're the only person on this planet that uses seperate Amps for each channel.
Don't worry Phil, you teach your kids whats right and stuff the rest because the rest are inferior and it will stay that way. I said it before and I will say it again you are a topic in our class room regarding many topics also your attitude against the wrong doing is what I like about you, like your topic on Voluntary School fees, they need to go back to school because they don't understand what the word voluntary stands for and I know what upset you about this matter was you generally volunteer your time and it costs you to help people over 50 years old how to use a computer and the internet. How dare they take the word voluntary and abuse it with an invoice forced down the throat of parents.
You're one of a kind
Steve
