your on the right track his basic argument to get germans on his side was that the treaty of the versais (something like that) was wrong because he belivied germany was not at falt in WW1 which they were as they invaded france. the treaty was that germany should repay france and britan for the cost of the war. when hitler said germany shouldn;t pay all germans who were dieing of hunger followed him and he took power after the President died (which he sent to kill) anyways the hate for the Jewish was latter on but that really wasn;t the reason why. in fact hitler was half jew as his grandfather was jewish, his girlfriend who also was his niece was jewish and his first boss was jewish. <br /><br />He blamed the Jewish for now winning WW1 thats why he hated them. its a good story his life more so that he would have been a great leader if only he didn;t have so much hate. i mean economics ect.. germans were well off with him but let hate come in the way also the fact he likes blondes with blue eyes as the ideal rase when he was short with black hair !!! and brown eyes funny ay!!! <br /><br />Pope Benedict was in the nazi youth which all youth from 5 to 16 had to do as part of the brain wash process of hitler. but he got out of it basiclly becasue we was young and they couldn;t brain wash him too much. <br /><br />i did Modern History for HSC and he was my chosen paper
