An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 occurred only 13 minutes ago 19 miles west of Big Spring, Texas, United States, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.
The quake hit at a very shallow depth of 3.1 miles beneath the epicenter near Big Spring, Howard County, Texas, USA, early evening on Thursday 31 December 2020 at 7:23 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
