Small 3.7 quake hits near Enid, Garfield County, Oklahoma, USA

Just 6 minutes ago, a 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck near Enid, Garfield County, Oklahoma, USA. The tremor was recorded early afternoon on Sunday 28 February 2021 at 3:38 pm local time, at a very shallow depth of 1.6 miles below the surface.
The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismological agency to report it.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.7 as well.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake was probably felt by many people in the area of the epicenter. It should not have caused significant damage, other than objects falling from shelves, broken windows, etc.
In Meno (pop. 240) located 2 miles from the epicenter, the quake should have been felt as light shaking.
Other towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Helena (pop. 1,400) located 14 miles from the epicenter, Waukomis (pop. 1,400) 15 miles away, Enid (pop. 51,800) 15 miles away, Fairview (pop. 2,700) 19 miles away, and Hennessey (pop. 2,200) 22 miles away.
