A magnitude 4.3 earthquake near Gisborne, Gisborne District, New Zealand, was reported only 13 minutes ago by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), considered one of the key international agencies that monitor seismic activity worldwide. The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 21 km beneath the epicenter early morning on Sunday 7 March 2021 at 2:14 am local time.
