A moderately shallow magnitude 4.3 earthquake was reported around noon near Sullana, Provincia de Sullana, Piura, Peru.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the quake hit on Tuesday 17 August 2021 at 1:59 pm local time at a moderately shallow depth of 35 km.
