Moderate magnitude 4.3 earthquake 58 km northeast of Ishinomaki, Japan 4.3 quake 27 Sep 7:58 pm (GMT +9) An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred only 10 minutes ago 58 km northeast of Ishinomaki, Japan, Japan's National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED) reported.
The quake hit at a moderately shallow depth of 45.4 km beneath the epicenter near Ishinomaki, Ishinomaki Shi, Miyagi, Japan, early evening on Monday, September 27th, 2021, at 7:58 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
