Moderate tremor of magnitude 4.2 just reported 63 km south of Acayucan, Mexico

Mexico's National Seismological Service (SSN) reported a magnitude 4.2 quake in Mexico near Acayucan, Veracruz, only 29 minutes ago. The earthquake hit in the morning on Friday, February 4th, 2022, at 7:31 am local time at an intermediate depth of 135 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 4.2 as well.
