Moderate 4.6 quake hits near General Santos City, South Cotabato, Soccsksargen, Philippines 4.6 quake 13 Feb 6:12 pm (GMT +8) An intermediate magnitude 4.6 earthquake was reported early evening near General Santos City, South Cotabato, Soccsksargen, Philippines. According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake hit on Sunday, February 13th, 2022, at 6:12 pm local time at an intermediate depth of 81.7 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report. A second report was later issued by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), which listed it as a magnitude 4.6 earthquake as well. A third agency, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), reported the same quake at magnitude 4.6.
