A magnitude 4.3 earthquake near Mapastepec, Chiapas, Mexico, was reported only 26 minutes ago by Mexico's National Seismological Service (SSN), considered the main national agency that monitors seismic activity in Mexico. The earthquake occurred at a moderately shallow depth of 37 km beneath the epicenter early morning on Monday, April 11th, 2022, at 2:04 am local time.
