Just 9 minutes ago, a 2.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Anaheim, Orange County, California, USA. The tremor was recorded early evening on Thursday, December 15th, 2022, at 7:26 pm local time, at a very shallow depth of 4.8 miles below the surface.
The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake, which listed it as a magnitude 2.6 earthquake as well.
