The Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, made a single change to its provisional 15-member squad for the ICC ODI World Cup. Veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was added to replace Axar Patel, who failed to recover fully from an injury. Ashwin was included in the first two games of the three-match ODI series against Australia, which served as the final dress rehearsal for the event.
