A moderately shallow magnitude 4.0 earthquake was reported in the morning near Tripoli, Arcadia, Peloponnese, Greece.
According to the National Observatory of Athens (NOA), the quake hit on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, at 10:38 am local time at a moderately shallow depth of 42.4 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
