An encounter in Dudu, Udhampur resulted in the death of a CRPF inspector from the 187th battalion during a patrolling operation against terrorists. The terrorists managed to escape, with security forces launching a pursuit to neutralise them. This comes ahead of Jammu and Kashmir's assembly elections scheduled after a decade-long gap.
