Magnitude 4.5 earthquake strikes near Lingayen, Pangasinan, Ilocos, Philippines

A shallow magnitude 4.5 earthquake was reported in the afternoon near Lingayen, Pangasinan, Ilocos, Philippines.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), the quake hit on Tuesday, November 26th, 2024, at 5:41 pm local time at a shallow depth of 10 km. Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.
