Just 8 minutes ago, a 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Padangsidempuan, Kota Padangsidimpuan, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The tremor was recorded early afternoon on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, at 2:31 pm local time, at a shallow depth of 10. km below the surface.
The event was filed by Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency, the first seismological agency to report it.
