An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 occurred in the morning on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, at 9:04 am local time near Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee, USA, as reported by the United States Geological Survey.
According to preliminary data, the quake was located at a shallow depth of 8.7 miles. Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.
